After years of playing Regino Sainz de la Maza’s Campanas del Alba[Bells at Dawn] I decided to write my own tremolo piece. The sonority of Morning Bellsis based on a moveable G chord shape, partly influenced by a song by Radiohead, Go to Sleep. The title references another song by the band, Morning Bell, first recorded on Kid A(2000) and again in a different version on Amnesiac (2001)
